Tier 1 — extensive film tourism
- Dubrovnik (Game of Thrones): King's Landing. Multiple themed tours.
- Rome: Roman Holiday, La Dolce Vita, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Eat Pray Love. Walking tours abound.
- London: Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, Harry Potter (King's Cross, Leadenhall Market). Themed tours dense.
- Glasgow / Highland Scotland: Outlander, Skyfall, Harry Potter (Glenfinnan Viaduct).
- Salzburg: Sound of Music. The themed-bus is the canonical tour.
Tier 2 — strong film history
- Vienna: The Third Man, Before Sunrise. Walking tours retrace Linz-Vienna train.
