Improv theaters anchored in English-language largely follow Chicago/UCB tradition (long-form scenes, Harold format) or short-form (whose-line, comedic games). Europe's English-language scene grew from American expat communities.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam Boom Chicago (since 1993, longest-running English improv in Europe). Located in Rozentheater, 200-seat venue. Saturday Night Live alumni Jordan Peele, Seth Meyers among early performers. Tickets €15–35.
Berlin
Berlin IO Berlin (since 2012 — Improv Olympic chapter), The Improv Society of Berlin. English-language scene strong post-2015. €5–15 typical. Plus German-language scene.
London
London Hoopla Impro (UK's longest-running improv theater), The Free Association, Comedy Store Players. £8–25. UK improv scene strong but more sketch-show than American long-form pure.
Paris
Paris The Improvidence (French + English shows), L'Improvidence. Francophone improv scene growing. €10–20.
Stockholm
Stockholm Stockholms Improvisationsteater. Long-running Nordic scene.
Madrid
Madrid Improvidos, Capítulo 7. Spanish-language scene primarily.

Dublin Workman's Cellar improv nights. Irish-English scene small but consistent.
Strategy
