YTT formats
200-hour Yoga Alliance certification is the entry standard. Three formats: residential intensives (3–4 weeks isolated retreat, €2,500–4,500), part-time city programs (3–6 months evenings/weekends, €2,000–3,500), and weekend modular (6+ months over weekends, €2,200–3,800). Cities below excel for each.
Lisbon
Lisbon growing YTT hub — Jaya Yoga, Yoga School Portugal. Affordable accommodation during 200hr (€800–1,200/month rent), warm climate year-round, English-language instruction. €2,200–3,500 program fees.
Andalusia (Sevilla, Granada base)
Rural Andalusian YTT retreats — Cortijo Romero, Suryalila Retreat (specifically yoga-school). 3-week residential, €2,500–4,000 all-inclusive (lodging + food + tuition). Off-grid setting Indian-ashram-style.
Mallorca
Balearic island YTT intensives — Mallorca Yoga Retreat, Cap Rocat (luxury hybrid). Beach + Mediterranean climate. €3,500–6,000 (luxury tier).
Crete
Greek island intensives — Yoga Plus, Anatolikos. April–October seasons. €2,800–4,500.
Berlin
Berlin Yoga University Berlin, Anantyoga Studio. Part-time formats for working professionals. Lower retreat-style intensives but more academic depth. €2,000–3,500.
London
London Triyoga, Camyoga, The Yoga Loft. Premium pricing (£3,500–6,500) but world-class teachers. Weekend formats available.
